Effective: July 26, 2026 · App: Thirsty Day (iOS)
Medical disclaimer: Thirsty Day provides general hydration tracking and estimates only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Thirsty Day is an independent family hydration app. Support and privacy contact: mmrhymaun@icloud.com.
If you enable Health, Thirsty Day may read dietary water, active/resting energy, exercise minutes, workouts, steps, walk/run distance, body mass, and height. If enabled, drinks you log can be written back to Health. Access is controlled by iOS permissions and can be revoked in Settings → Health.
If weather adjust is enabled, the app uses approximate on-device location to fetch current temperature and humidity for a heat/humidity hydration bonus. Location is not sold and is not kept as a long history in this version. Kids profiles skip weather auto-bumps.
Friend codes and share cards stay on your device in version 1.0. Live CloudKit / cloud friend sync is disabled in this release.
A compact progress snapshot is shared through an App Group so Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can update.
Thirsty Day is intended for general audiences and household use by parents/guardians. It is not directed at children as a primary audience under COPPA.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date above will change when we do.
